Austrian IFR-Tour 2010

Hallo Piloten,
nach dem großen Erfolg der IFR Tour 2009 möchten wir mit der neuen IVAO Austrian IFR Tour 2010 daran anschließen.
Das lange Warten hat nun ein Ende – Viel Spaß dabei.

Anbei ein paar einfache Regeln, die Ihr beachten müsst, um die Austrian IFR Tour 2010 erfolgreich abschließen zu können:

  • um an der Tour teilnehmen zu können, must Du bei IVAO registriert sein;
  • Alle Legs müssen online geflogen werden, unter realen Simulations- und Wetterbedingungen.
    (Der Gebrauch von Concorde und anderen Supersonic Flugzeugen ist nicht gestattet).
  • Alle Legs müssen in der richtigen Reihenfolge geflogen werden;
  • Jedes Leg muss validiert werden. Abgeschlossene Flüge müssen nach jedem Flug im PIREP- Formular eingetragen werden. Es ist wichtig, sich die TakeOff / Landing Zeit zu notieren [Zulu] da diese nachher im PIREP Formular abgefragt werden.
  • Achte auf die Eingaben in Deinem Flugplan. Flüge mit falschem Departure / Arrival Airport werden nicht akzeptiert.
  • Wir werden keine Flüge akzeptieren, die mit DIRECT GPS geflogen wurden. Dies entspricht nicht dem “Spirit” unserer Tour. Der Gebrauch von GPS als Navigationshilfe (z.B. auffinden von NAV ID´s ist gestattet.
  • Achte bei jedem Leg darauf, ob das von Dir eingesetzte Fluggerät am Departure-/Arrival- Airport landen oder starten darf.
    Flüge, die mit Flugzeugen durchgeführt werden, die nicht dieser Kategorie entsprechen, werden nicht akzeptiert.
    Es ist daher wichtig die Briefings, die für jedes Leg zur Verfügung stehen, zu beachten!
  • ATC muss nicht während des ganzen Fluges gewährleistet sein;

after the huge success of the Austrian IFR Tour 2009 we’d like to introduce the new IVAO Austrian creation.
You can’t miss the new and highly awaited IFR Tour!

A few simple rules to successfully complete this new Austrian IFR Tour 2010:

  • In order to participate you must been registered on IVAO network;
  • All legs must be flown online, at the normal simulation rate 1x
    (Concorde or other supersonic a/c are also forbidden), with real weather conditions;
  • All legs must be flown in the right order;
  • Each leg must be validated. Completed flight reports have to be sent after each leg using the pirep form. Note down take-off time and landing time: you will be asked to report them later (UTC [ZULU] Time );
  • Please pay attention to your flight plans. Flight plans with wrong departure/arrival ICAO code will be rejected;
  • We will not validate any leg performed with DIRECT GPS. This procedure is not in the spirit of our tour. In order to find a point or any other element that may be useful to the navigation, the use of GPS or any other navaid is allowed;
  • Pay attention for each leg, if the aircraft is suitable with the departure and/or destination airport. Legs flown with an aircraft of a different category from those allowed for every single airport won’t be validated.
    Because of this, we kindly recommend to read the briefing, provided for each leg!
  • ATC guidance is not necessary all the way to validate your leg.
